Great protection, no fog, ultra low profile
I bought these as a last attempt since I could not find a mask for airsoft that fit my head AND one that I liked. I went with these and a metal mesh lower face guard. The anti-fog capabilities of these are very apparent with the giant set of vent holes on the top of the frame that are able to be opened or closed. These keep the goggles clear and help circulate air behind them. At a walking pace or simply standing outside you can feel the wind coming through the holes. Very nice. When new they fit extremely tight due to the "swimming" goggle type strap. I wear a medium/large motorcycle helmet or 7 1/8 or 22 7/8". I adjusted the goggle strap all the way out until there is barely any strap left and they were still super tight. Imagine putting on a snorkeling mask and going down 20 feet. That kind of tight. Because of the shape of the glasses and with them being that tight, it felt as if my eyeballs were being sucked out of my head. Sounds really bad at this point I know but, the strap...

good lens but not rugged and fogging easily
USE:
cycling commute in Minnesota.
i wanted something that protected for wind, sun and gave me a large vision field, and that could rest over my helmet when not needed, in short: something like the snow goggle i wore during winter, but much lighter.
i eventually added softer hair band on both sides to make it longer and less tight. [i submitted pictures]
PRO:
- perfect field vision, critical when checking what's coming from behind
- light weight
- coating density works well from bright sun to sunset .
CONS:
- strap is too tight and not extensible enough.
- it only took some weeks before the foam starts to separate from the lens where it rests on the helmet (despite the tension is not great) so much for "Elite Division"'s "revolutionary combat eye protection system"
- invariably, if i stop for a short period of time (red light) after about 20 minutes of cycling, the fog up completely, wether the vents...
Distortion-free goggles, but tight strap.
Goggles of this type need to be firmly held in place to resist wind force displacement, but for my head the supplied strap was almost painfully tight for my XL [7 7/8] head. I own other Smith eye products and this is good quality optical stuff, literature in the box said there are other optional strap possibilities but I decided to stick with my current goggles and return this pair. My three star rating is because the strap was too tight and uncomfortable, I want to stress the goggles had no distortion that I noticed.
