I have three of these rods and they rock. Strong and sensitive. I have two spinners and one bait caster. You can pretty much catch just about any fish with these rods, and they are very versatile. You can use soft plastics, cranks spinners, live bait. The cork handle is ultra comfortable and looks great. These rods are foolproof! Buy it and you'll live it, and likely wont want to use any of your other rods.

Great Rod, Alright Price
No need to make this too long.
This is a great rod. Very strong and VERY sensitive(which is exactly what I wanted).
Landed an 11 pound catfish like it was nothing.
Very nice cork handle and very comfortable.
My only complaint are the eyes. In the description it says "Double-footed Fuji aluminum oxide guides with stainless steel frames". "Ok sounds good" I said. And when I got the rod in the mail it only features double footed fuji eyes on 2 out of the 6 guides (not including the tip). I dont know why shakespeare chose to do this but Amazon needs to make sure they are very specific on these little details.Or at least show a picture of the whole rod.
I could have gotten a Big water ugly stik 10-25lb for about $20 cheaper with all double footed eyes.(Just sayin)
All in all it is still an ugly stik. I have never had one break on me and I have been using them for 20 years. Definatly my favorite rods. Best for the price and reliable.
