Johnson Country Mile Spincast Combo
This spin-cast reel & rod combination was fantastic. The reel performed like the Johnson reel of my youth...with precision. The quality seemed excellent and the casting was on target. That was until the screw that held the handle onto the reel fell into the deep river. The reel is made so the handle can be switched to either Lt/Rt hand. I was thrilled that I had an American brand reel that performed so well...until the handle fell overboard! I withdrew my five star rating to a one star.

I love my Country Mile!
The best casting rod and reel I have ever owned. It never hangs up and a very smooth cast. And when you cast, it keeps on going!
Great combo kit
Bought the combo for my girlfriend.
Arrived ready to use, reel looks chintzy but works fine and hasn't tangled yet.
