A Great Rod
I'm a beginner fly-fisherman, this is my first rod. I've only had the rod a few weeks and to date I have caught 3 trout, 2 bonefish and aprox. 12 small-mouth bass. It's a great rod and it was shipped to me very quickly.

Affordable outdoor fun
I bought this fly rod combo to replace my previous fly rod from eagle claw that I had for over 15 years. The only reason I replaced my old one was because it was a short 6'6" rod that I learned on and was looking to fish larger bodies of water. This rod is great for the price and works great. I am not a competitive fisherman and do not take trips to Alaska to fish for Salmon, I simply enjoy fishing everyday for smallies, trout, and pan fish. This rod is great for beginners and pros who want to fish everyday and not worry about breaking an expensive rod in the process. I have caught over 300 fish ranging from a few ounces to 3 pound smallies in my local creek and river. I have not had a problem with this rod nor do I expect to have one. I would purchase again.

flimzy , spend a little more for a better one fluger brand at $40.00 is a good one it will make you happier!
