These Rods Are Super!
The previous reviewer has absolutely no idea how to use these rods. I have used there rods for many years and they work SUPER. I just ordered two a few days ago, (I had four others previously...kids took them) and will be ordering three more tonight. I have a group of youngsters that have never fished before, and these are the closest to being like Huckelberry Finn rods for them. Years ago I took a group of teenaged girls (7 of them) fishing, and they had a ball using these no tech rods. We caught over 70 Blue Gills and took them home and cleaned them and made fried fish for these girls. They loved the fish, and even got a call from a parent asking what we did to get her daughter to eat fish, and what did we use to catch the fish....it was all the daughter talked about after the trip. These are great rods for jigging or just cane poling. All you need is a bobber, split shot, hook and bait or a jig on a short line and your in business.

This thing is great for what it's made for.
THe same thing sells at Bass Pro for 19.99. Why it gets bad reviews I have no idea??? Maybe it's because the idiots reviewing it don't really know what it's made for?? This is a great telescoping crappie rod and I see many fish to come of this and the price is unbeatable at $9. The length isn't bad I wuldn't go more than 13' if they made a 12' that be the cats rear end there.
